Suwa & Tella

Siwa (“suwa”) & Tella are traditional fermented beverages from Ethiopia. These fermented beverages are somewhere between kombucha and barley tea in flavor, and are an important part of Ethiopian culture. 

The most common grains used for Siwa in San Diego are Crystal 80, and Crystal 60. They are often mixed together, and we can mill them up to two times if you request.
